Wildwood (30318) is an Atlanta neighborhood in the southwest area of Buckhead. During the Civil War the area was the site of an important battle. It remained relatively undeveloped with some bungalows being built in the early 1900s. One of the most attractive features of the neighborhood is the existence of Atlanta Memorial Park. This 199-acre area is popular with walkers, joggers, children and sports enthusiasts. It features the Bobby Jones Golf Course and famed Bitsy Grant Tennis Center.

Wildwood is attractive as a neighborhood because of easy access to I-75. It is filled with a mixture of bungalows, mid century ranch style homes and new construction, which helps create a charming atmosphere. Wildwood is different from many other Buckhead neighborhoods because many of the homes are newer, though some date back to the 1940s. There are also apartments and townhomes here, but the most in demand houses are the mid-century ranches, renovated cottages and bungalows, as well as some very traditional style large homes on private wooded lots. All of these elements make Wildwood one of Buckhead’s most popular residential areas.
